Russian luxury fashion label KISA was launched in London in 2006 by Alex Kiselev and Maia Tarkhan-Mouravi.

Given the couple’s passion for fashion and their Russian background, they decided to explore the yet untapped concept of establishing a fashion label reflective of the golden era of Imperial Russia. In time for their show during London Fashion Week AW 2008-09, Hyperactive Media provided creative direction to KISA across certain aspects of the label’s branding. Services included corporate design and package design.

Objective

Redesign of current logo and corporate visual language so as to reflect on KISA’s refined brand philosophy. With new found glory and a growing celebrity following, KISA sought a more sophisticated corporate design to help position it as global brand in the luxury segment of the fashion market.

Solution

The corporate identity is a subtle reference to the new found sophistication in Russia, a sleek and timeless interpretation of the sans serif Helvetica font. After developing detailed design specifications, Hyperactive Media created invitations for the KISA’s show and events during London Fashion Week and bespoke packaging for the label’s clothing and lookbooks.
